ATW Companies Announces Grand Opening of Parmatech-Proform Facility in East Providence

ATW Companies, a leading provider of custom manufactured metal components and services, announces the grand opening of Parmatech-Proform Corporationâ??s (Proformâ??s) new 25,000 square foot manufacturing facility at 825 Waterman Avenue, in East Providence, Rhode Island. The company focuses on metal injection molding and secondary MIM operations for the medical, telecommunications, firearms, hand tools, semiconductor, and electronic packaging markets.

The grand opening event will take place at the facility in October. It will feature remarks by ATW executives, a tour of the factory and visits from community leaders, as well as light refreshments and music.Proform is a wholly owned subsidiary of ATW Companies, acquired in 2009, specifically to augment and complement Parmatechâ??s California-based MIM operation. The existence of two separate facilities offers these markets significantly enhanced logistical and security benefits. The new Rhode Island facility will serve as Proformâ??s headquarters.
